The path from development to product launch includes programming, calibration and external approval tests as well as evaluation by the end user. We cover this assessment with so-called beta tests, in which national and international users can test a prototype of the new device in their work environment.
One of our numerous beta testers is an active participant in our MN seminars and was pleased to give other customers a look behind the scenes of the beta test:
"We have been using the NANOCOLOR analysis system for a long time and are always interested in improvements and innovations. If possible, we also pass on suggestions for improvement in discussions with the sales representative responsible for us.
When MACHEREY-NAGEL asked us to participate in a beta test for the new spectrophotometer NANOCOLOR Advance, it was clear that we wanted to do so. We received a prototype a few months before the product launch, which we used in our daily laboratory routine parallel to our established measuring system. In addition to the evaluation of the operation, questions about the packaging and the operating instructions should also be answered. I was particularly pleased that our
feedback was taken into account during the product development . Our suggestion to increase the size of the input keyboard was quickly incorporated and we were able to test the changes shortly after. The spectrophotometer as well as the cooperation with MACHEREY-NAGEL convinced us to purchase the NANOCOLOR Advance as the successor to our long-term photometer for our laboratory."
