New magnetic, fluorine-free screw closure N 9

Robotic sample preparation lines as well as some autosamplers, like the CTC GC / Combi PAL and comparable instruments, are constructed that way that they lift and transport vials with a magnet the size of the vial’s cap. For such instruments we have now launched a magnetic, fluorine-free 9 mm screw closure for PFAS analysis. Instead of a PTFE lamination the silicone liner is covered with polypropylene as the chemically inert barrier towards the sample, in order to guarantee sample integrity in this special application.

The magnetic closure 702407 complements our range of fluorine-free closures for PFAS analysis in combination with our range of plastic vials as shown below:

Screw caps N 9:

702402 (Silicone/Polyimide) and 702405 (Silicone/Polyimide, slit),
702406 (Silicone/Polypropylene) or 702407 (magnetic, Silicone/Polypropylene)

Snap ring caps N 11:

702403 (soft cap, light blue, Silicone/Polyimide)

Plastic vials N 9:

702500 (1.5 mL transparent), 702009 (0.3 mL transparent), 702172 (0.3 mL amber) and
702010 (0.7 mL transparent)

Plastic vials N 11:

702809 (0.3 mL transparent), 702173 (0.3 mL amber) and
702174 (0.7 mL transparent)
