The biochemical oxygen demand after 5 days (BOD5) is, next to the chemical oxygen demand (COD), the most important sum parameter to estimate the pollution level of water bodies. However, the determination is more complex compared to the chemical oxygen demand. In this online seminar, we provide important basics on this parameter, explain the sample preparation and give important tips and tricks for error-free analysis.
