Standard TLC glass plates coated with a soft layer of unmodified silica gel 60. Thickness of layer for analytical plates 0.25 mm. For preparative purposes (PLC) different layer thickness are available (0.5 mm, 1 mm and 2 mm). For 2 mm preparative layers a slightly coarser material is used. Available with different UV indicators - manganese activated zinc silicate with green fluorescence for short-wave UV (254 nm); special inorganic fluorescent pigment with blue fluorescence for long-wave UV (366 nm). SIL G is available on glass plates, aluminum sheets and polyester sheets in different sizes.
