Two new test strips - a strong team for food and water analysis
With QUANTOFIX Nitrite 25 and QUANTOFIX Nitrate 250, MACHEREY-NAGEL is launching a powerful duo that makes the precise on-site determination of nitrite and nitrate easier than ever before.
Our new QUANTOFIX Nitrite 25 test strip (91367) is ideal for checking foods such as dairy products, canned vegetables or baby food. The test delivers results in just 60 seconds and covers a range from 0.5 to 25 mg/L nitrite - either visually or digitally evaluated reflectometrically with the QUANTOFIX Relax.
The test is supplemented by QUANTOFIX Nitrate 250 (91366), which was specially developed for applications in the food industry and has been on the market since April 2025. The strip enables the simple and highly precise determination of nitrate in the range from 5 to 250 mg/L - for example in milk, whey or spinach samples.
Together, the two strips form a practical power duo for fast and reliable analysis directly on site - without the need for expensive laboratory equipment. This makes them an ideal solution for companies that regularly need to check nitrite and nitrate levels and value efficiency, accuracy and ease of use.
