NucleoSpin Plasmid is a spin column kit for manual use. It is designed for the isolation of high-purity and integrity plasmid DNA from bacteria such as Escherichia coli. Following lysis, the sample is bound to the silica membrane of the NucleoSpin Plasmid Column, and contaminants are removed by a series of washing steps. Plasmid DNA is eluted in a slightly alkaline buffer, thus being ready-to-use for subsequent applications.
