EC HPLC column (analytical), NUCLEOSIL 100-5 C18 PPN, 5 µm, 250x4 mm

Special reversed phase with polymerically bonded alkyl chains with exclusively hydrophobic interactions. Based on the original NUCLEOSIL silica gel. It is one of the first spherical silicas for HPLC and was originally developed by MACHEREY-NAGEL in 1974. It is exclusively manufactured in Germany and is still one of the most used HPLC silicas in quality control around the globe. Dynamic protein binding capacity per g packing - 8 mg BSA, 64 mg cytochrome C. Suited for the separation of peptides and proteins up to about 40 kD, also suited for basic peptides.
