Bonded screw closures N 9 with slit Silicone/PTFE liners are typical products for usage on Waters autosamplers. Their thick and blunt needles tend to push assembled liners into the vial during penetration which can be avoided by a firm fixation of the liner in the bonded closures. The slit prevents the formation of a vacuum inside the vial in case of multiple injections. The septa are firmly connected with cap and cannot be removed.
