In photometry, it is important to detect interferences so that measurement results can be evaluated correctly. The composition of the tested samples depends strongly on the upstream processes. When using our test kits, we recommend checking for possible sources of interference in the sample. In this seminar, we will show you which interferences can occur, how to recognize them and how these interferences can be eliminated or avoided. Among other things, we will cover the important industrial parameters COD, Phosphate, Nitrate and Nitrit in theory and practice. The presentation language will be german. Content: General information on IQC Pipette control and proper pipetting Carrying out various practical exercises Inspection equipment monitoring of the photometer Date/Location: April 10, 2025, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. CET Wasserburg am Inn (DE) Registration: Please register here for this seminar. The seminar is free of charge for all participants. Deadline for registration is one week before seminar date. General information: The seminar is free of charge and independent of which measuring system you use Drinks, coffee breaks and lunch will be provided Participants will receive detailed seminar documentation and a certificate of attendance Registrations will be considered at the latest one week before the seminar date The number of participants is limited. Registrations will be considered according to the date of receipt.

Our NANOCOLOR round cuvette tests for the determination of CB, Ammonium, Nitrate and Total Nitrogen comply with ISO standards. These standards were specifically developed for the determination of water quality using small, sealed vessels.
In particular, these are:
1) ISO 15705:2002: Water quality — Determination of chemical oxygen demand (ST-COD) — Small-scale technique in sealed vessels. This standard specifies the determination of CB in any aqueous sample, including all wastewater and pollutant water.
2) ISO 23695:2023-02: Water quality — Determination of ammonium nitrogen in water — Small-scale technique in sealed vessels. This standard specifies the determination of Ammonium in drinking water, groundwater, surface water, wastewater, bathing water and mineral water with measurement ranges from 0.01–1800 mg/L NH₄-N.
3) ISO 23696-1:2023-02: Water quality — Determination of nitrates in water with small-scale sealed vessels — Part 1: Dimethylphenol colorimetric method. This standard specifies the determination of Nitrates in natural waters, drinking water and wastewater with measurement ranges from 0.10–225 mg/L NO₃-N.
4) ISO 23697-1:2023-02: Water quality — Determination of total bound nitrogen (ST-TNb) in water with small-scale sealed vessels — Part 1: Dimethylphenol colorimetric method. This standard specifies the determination of Total Nitrogen in groundwater, surface water and wastewater with measurement ranges from 0.5–220 mg/L N.
These standards provide clear guidelines and procedures for the precise measurement of chemical oxygen demand and various nitrogen parameters in water samples.
They are of great importance for environmental experts, laboratories and companies dealing with water treatment. By complying with these standards, our customers can ensure that our NANOCOLOR test kits are precise, reliable and comparable.
