Column conditioning: 3 mL methanol, then 3 mL water.
(Do not let run the column dry.)
Sample aspiration: The prepared sample is passed through the column by vacuum or pressure (max. 1000 mL sample volume)
Washing: With 3 mL methanol - water (2:98, v/v) are washed impurities
Elution: Analytes are eluted with 2 x 2 mL methanol/acetone (1:1, v/v) or dichloromethane |

This protocol is a suggestion for standard procedures and should be optimized (solvents, volumes, adsorbent amount, ....) due to necessity of the investigated sample or compound and subsequent analysis (GC, HPLC, ...). |
