Sample pretreatment: Individual sample preparation in reference to the compounds and matrix. (Adjust pH value if necessary)
Conditions: Column conditioning: 5 ml methanol, then 5 ml water.
(Do not let run the column dry.)

Sample aspiration: The prepared sample is passed through the column by vacuum or pressure (max. 1000 ml sample volume)

Washing: With 5 ml water or 5 ml (5% methanol in water) are washed impurities

Drying: With nitrogen or air

Elution: Analytes are eluted with 3 x 2 ml methanol

Evaporation and reconstitute (if necessary)

Note: The volumes are typical for columns 3 ml, 200 mg. The method can be easily adjusted to different column sizes by changing the volumes in the single steps. Depending on the application the solvent for the elution can be changed without problems (e. g. acetonitrile or acetone can be used) and may give improved results
