| Conditions: |

Column conditioning:
10 mL methylene chloride, 10 mL methanol, then 10 mL dist. water - 2-propanol
(9:1, v/v)
Sample application:
Aspirate 500 mL pretreated water sample through the column (about 5 mL/min)
Column washing:
2 mL dist. water - 2-propanol (9:1, v/v), then dry column (about 20 min, vacuum)
Elution:
Elute with 4x1 mL methylene chloride (let percolate first 1 mL into the
column packing without vacuum, then apply light vacuum); if necessary evaporate
in a stream of nitrogen and fill up with a suitable solvent |
