NucleoSpin isolation technology and GMO experience from GEN-IAL were combined to provide an optimal lysis and purification system for nearly all types of food samples. Resulting eluates are ready-to-use for all types of subsequent detection methods, especially realtime and basic PCR technology.
GEN-IAL is an established startup company which offers contract research and molecular testing services in food and feed stuff. Special terms of interest are the development and standardisation of detection methods for GMOs and animal and microbial species identification and differentiation.
GEN-IAL is the winner of the innovation award 2000 of NRW/Germany. The prize was awarded for the First-Beer-Kit for detection of main beer spoilage bacteria.
