Special high-purity octadecyl-modified silica phase
for HPLC analysis of PAHs
Features
Base material NUCLEODUR® silica, particle sizes 1.8 and 3 µm, pore size 110 Å, polymeric coating ∙ USP L1
Eluent in column acetonitrile – water (70:30, v/v)
Allows efficient gradient separation of the 16 PAHs according to EPA
 
Detection of the separated PAHs by UV (250 to 280 nm), with diode array or with fluorescence detection at different wavelengths for excitation and emission (Acenaphthylene cannot be analyzed with fluorescence detection.)
